Unfortunately, we live in a society in which a huge number believe all the crap they hear on Fox (Faux) News and propaganda sources of like ilk, whether it relates to Haitians eating dogs and cats, transgender people "proselytizing" in the schools, or Mexicans flooding our streets with drugs.
Let's bring that word -- "wasi'chu" -- to the public's attention. I'm sure you know far better than I that "fat-taker" is a more recent definition (or connotation), but until people begin to see these people as they are (i.e., as the greedy pigs who take all the "fat"), they'll continue to "show up to spew their hatred."
As far as I am concerned, those who look upon Native American land and seek to exploit it for their own advantage are wasi'chus. Those who have no reverence for sites sacred to Indigenous people are wasi'chus. Those who pass laws that enable them to get away with further theft of the land are wasi'chus. Those who weaken environmental laws so that they can poison the soil and water of Indigenous people are wasi'chus. Those who work for/with Trump are wasi'chus, and Trump is the quintessential wasi'chu.
