Ugh…😖. Utter insanity. Good note: today in a town of 7,000 we had 10% of the population show up for the Hands Off! protest. Many signs said hand off our libraries.
It's disturbing, to say the least, to find out now that the libraries' tax money was used to fund early childhood education! And, now we can't afford the libraries and never spent the money needed to maintain the main downtown library.
The source of the money for PEEPS was not publicized. I never say anything in the newspaper at the time about the funding.
This is fraud! The media needs to pay a lot more attention to money and budgets!
